Welcome to Mercurio-Wagner Music!
Peter Mercurio and I are two grandfathers
in our sixties, with no previous experience in songwriting. We dare to believe that God has given us the skill to write music at our age that will touch lives for Christ. The lyrics to our songs will encourage listeners to confess their sin, receive Christ as their savior, repent of their rebellion from God, pursue godly living, and serve the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
It is our goal to produce music that reminds our "classic" listeners of the best of secular music of the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s. We hope the music of our songs reminds our listeners of names like Buddy Holly, Carly Simon, John Denver, the Beatles, the Flamingos, Marvin Gaye, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Tears for Fears, Coldplay, The Little River Band, Supertramp, U2, and other artists from not-so-long ago.
I am pleased to announce that we will release our first song, This Christmas Eve, on December 1. The song can be enjoyed on our website as well as on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Music, Amazon, Pandora, iHeartRadio and other music streaming applications.
The song is about a woman who longs for her guy to receive Christ as his savior. She dreams of a Christmas Eve when his heart has changed. However, she eventually gives up, praying that the Lord would change his heart someday. A crisis comes into his life and he turns his heart to Jesus Christ. The woman celebrates that his heart has changed This Christmas Eve.
What does the song have to do with Gramazin? It is our prayer and our strategy that the release of this song will rapidly spread awareness of the Gramazin mission throughout all 50 states.
Peter and I would like to thank Amarya Danaé for her wonderful singing of our song. She is
a godly young lady from North Carolina who is an inspiring Christian artist. Please visit her Apple Music page and enjoy her music.
