Mercurio-Wagner Release New Songs

Peter G. Mercurio and Charles Wagner, the Executive Director of Gramazin, met in 2018 when Charles turned to Peter to teach him how to play the guitar. A friendship grew quickly between these two believers in Jesus Christ. When Charles' late brother-in-law was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer in April 2021, Charles wrote the lyric for the song I Cannot Cry. He shared it with Peter and their songwriting partnership began. Peter is a graduate of the Berkley School of Music in Boston, and an experienced stage performer who toured with a rock band throughout New England for 13 years.

Charles presents the song idea, the suggested genre and musical style of the song, the title, and the lyrics to Peter who then composes the music and plays the instruments. The men co-engineer and co-produce the final copy of the song and then release it to the Gramazin staff who distribute the music.

Phylicia Masonheimer - June 25-26 - I grew up in a Christian home. I knew all the Christianese, but I didn't know why I believed any of it or how it applied to my life. It wasn't until college (I have a B.S. in Religion) that I realized what the gospel was meant to do. The gospel is meant to transform how we view the world, including how we think, act, date, love, work, marry, and parent. Following Christ is a daily forward motion into the heart of God. As my walk with God deepened, I sought answers to the tough questions my millennial peers were asking. These questions were about everything: alcohol, dating, marriage, sex, and politics. As I dug for the answers, I wrote about what I found. And through a secret struggle with lust, I came to understand that I was only as safe from sin as I was close to Christ. Today I'm still finding biblical answers to cultural questions.

He has been married to the love of his life Laurie for 45 years and has three adult children and four grandchildren

Tom Bennardo - July 2-3 - Tom Bennardo is a four-decade ministry veteran whose experience spans the spectrum - church planter, lead pastor, mentor and coach, conference speaker, author, and denominational leader. He holds an MDiv from Grace Theological Seminary and a doctorate from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He currently serves as Executive Director of Church Leadership and Multiplication for the Fellowship of Evangelical Churches, where he provides training, equipping, and spiritual direction for current and emerging pastors and is a sought-after speaker, seminar leader, and consultant. A New York City native, Tom is an avid sports fan who lives and (mostly) dies with the New York Mets and Jets, and a mediocre athlete whose past accomplishments grow greater in his mind with every passing year. Tom and his wife Marcia have been married 40 years and have two grown daughters. He's never surfed, but resides in San Clemente, CA for the view.
